Well I know I have been quiet with BzzAgent since November, but I finally got a few campaign going and I have been busy trying out the Kroger Simple Truth Organic line!
I was super excited to be part of this campaign because I had a blast being part of the last Simple Truth campaign that I took part in before I started blogging. I already knew of the brand because it's always part of our grocery list. This is what the Bzzkit contained this comes from the BzzAgent website.

So my BzzKit came in the mail and you can see I received a bottle of Lemon with Lemongrass Tea, a bar of Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt, a coupon for a free Ready to Bake bread and a coupon for free Greek Yogurt cup. And a bunch of coupons to pass on the savings to my family and friends.
As a chocolate lover you know I had to try the dark chocolate right away! Silly me did not even take a picture of it so I'm using the one provided by BzzAgent. I LOVED this chocolate, dark chocolate is not super sweet and it's kind of bitter. But the added sea salt helps it so much, something about salt and chocolate that works well with each other. I snacked on this when ever I needed a sweet break, needless to say it did not last long at all. Next on my list is to try the one with coconut!
The following day I gave the tea a try, I actually took this with me to my aunts house on New Year's Eve. Boy was I in for a shock! The Lemon Lemongrass is what I got and it's gross!!! I was so disappointed by this tea that I have not even given any other flavors a try. It was so bitter and it left a bad taste in your mouth. Even though it said the tea was sweetened it had no sweet taste at all! I even added sugar to it and it still was bad. I don't recommend this flavor to anyone! I can't speak for the other flavors provided since I did not even give them a try.
A few weeks after that I made this yummy Cilantro Lime Chicken and made the choice to finally use my coupon for the Ready to Bake Bread. At my local Kroger I did not have much to choose from because this looks to be a popular item. So I went home with the Roasted Garlic flavor and it's so good!!! So simple to just pop this bad boy in the oven and have great tasting fresh bread on the table. My family is the type that always has to have bread with dinner so crescent rolls are always on the table. Now this bread will be part of our dinners especially on pasta nights because what's better that garlic bread covered in butter? Well this lovely organic bread hits the spot just right. You can buy a few loaves and keep them in your freezer and have them ready to go when you need them.
Today I gave the Greek Nonfat Yogurt a try....anyone who knows me knows I can't stand Greek yogurt. I gave it a try, I had to give an honest review and I actually ate Greek yogurt today.
It had strawberries at the bottom so I mixed my yogurt up. I don't know if that's what you do but hey I needed the full effect. I gave it a try, put the spoon in my mouth and then regretted it LOL It was sour and I was not happy. The strawberry part taste great! I did make sure that on my next spoonful that I had way more strawberries than yogurt. I gave the rest to my SO who was happy to eat it, he said it was great tasting and he really liked it. In the end it just depends on if you like Greek yogurt or not. A friend of mine told me to add some sugar to it so I might give another flavor a try and add sugar this time.
In the end I am very happy with Kroger and their Simple Truth Organic line. One of the products that we always buy is the Simple Truth Organic marinara sauce! Last night we made pizza pockets using the marinara sauce and man they turned out so yummy. I know marinara sauce was not part of the BzzKit but the Simple Truth line has so many products to try that you can't just base it on the ones that came in the BzzKit. So I will leave you with my dinner last night. Yummy pizza pockets so simple to make and so tasty!!!
